Meet Shania
Shania Mangum is a Clinical Counseling Intern and master’s-level student in the Clinical Counseling program at Bowie State University. She is passionate about supporting individuals as they work toward emotional clarity, relational health, and holistic well-being.
Shania is dedicated to helping clients navigate life’s complexities while cultivating greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change. She has experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including college students, working professionals, individuals navigating unemployment or retirement, and those experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, reentry from incarceration, and other life challenges.
Her counseling approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and insight-oriented. She uses an integrative lens, blending practical tools with deeper self-exploration and tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual.
Known for her calming and perceptive presence, Shania creates a supportive space where clients can feel understood, encouraged, and gently guided toward clarity, confidence, alignment, and emotional security.
