This supportive and structured 8-week group will teach practical skills to help you better understand, manage, and cope with symptoms of anxiety and depression.

In this group, you will learn how to:

Understand how anxiety and depression affect the brain & body

Identify triggers, thought patterns, and emotional cycles

Use grounding + regulation skills to calm your mind
-
Challenge negative thoughts and reduce rumination
-
Improve motivation and daily functioning
-
Build healthier routines
-
Strengthen communication & boundaries
-
Create a personalized coping plan

Private Pay: $50 per session for non-Medicaid clients

Learn the basics of anxiety and depression and begin building your “skills toolbox.”
How anxiety and depression affect the brain and body.
Learn about cognitive distortions, the anxiety cycle, and the depression cycle.
Recognize internal and external triggers, warning signs, and emotional patterns. Learn grounding skills for managing difficult moments.
Learn techniques to calm the mind and body, including breathing exercises and somatic regulation.
Understand the “Window of Tolerance.”
Learn cognitive-behavioral strategies to reframe negative thinking and reduce rumination. Practice thought-challenging and coping statements.
Learn behavioral activation skills to improve motivation and mood. Develop small, achievable goals and supportive daily routines.
Understand how anxiety and depression impact relationships. Learn assertive communication and boundary-setting strategies.
Review the skills learned throughout the program. Build a long-term coping plan to maintain progress beyond the group.
